A hidden gem
Maison Bohemia is discreetly set at the back of a gated, private courtyard, concealed behind centuries-old heritage walls just steps from Rue Saint-Paul - the oldest and most iconic street in Vieux-Montréal.
This rare setting offers a unique duality: immediate access to the energy of Old Montreal, paired with an atmosphere of remarkable calm. Sheltered from street activity and tucked deep within an interior courtyard, the house remains exceptionally quiet - a true retreat in the heart of the city.
Originally built at the end of the 19th century, the building first served as stables, once home to dozens of horses when Old Montreal was a bustling commercial hub. Over time, it evolved through many chapters, later operating as an inn that welcomed travelers from around the world.
In 2022, the property entered a new era and became Maison Bohemia - reimagined as a private boutique hotel rented exclusively in its entirety. The interiors were thoughtfully designed and furnished with exclusive handcrafted pieces and curated artwork.
Today, Maison Bohemia is an intimate setting for group stays, where families, friends, and corporate or event groups gather in generous, warm shared spaces while still enjoying a high level of privacy in individual, hotel-like bedrooms.

A longtime Old Montrealer, he shares a deep love for travel and exceptional hospitality, bringing local insight to every stay. Deeply involved in daily operations, he ensures Maison Bohemia feels impeccably managed yet warmly human, where everything unfolds with ease and intention.
